This Supervisor will oversee the success and productivity of 20-30 associates. Shift: 1st Position Overview: The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the distribution center, ensuring efficient workflow, fostering collaboration across departments, and leading a team to enhance business operations. This role requires strong people management skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to improving processes. Experience in a distribution, logistics, or warehouse setting is preferred, and bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are a plus. Key Responsibilities: Team Management & Leadership: Supervise and provide direct leadership to a team of distribution center associates. Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and provide ongoing support and guidance. Conduct performance evaluations, deliver constructive feedback, and support employee development. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that drives engagement and productivity. Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth daily operations by monitoring workflows and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with multiple departments, including inventory, logistics, and customer service, to optimize distribution processes. Support cross-training initiatives to enhance team versatility and overall operational efficiency. Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy. Process Improvement & Compliance: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational standards. Monitor inventory movement and ensure proper handling of goods to reduce errors and inefficiencies. Utilize data and reporting tools to track performance metrics and recommend process enhancements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment. Strong people management skills, including coaching, training, and performance management. Ability to collaborate across departments and drive operational improvements. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication skills to engage with teams at all levels. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
